Our charter here at Wayne State University was originally founded as the Theta Chapter by Bro. Leighton Duncan (Big Brother Leal) on August 11, 1995. Since that time the Theta chapter was inactive for a few years. During the fall semester of 2001 Pi Psi was officially put back on the yard to spread the DIRT thanks to Big Brother INFINITY (initiated at the Alpha Chapter). During the winter semester of 2002 the paperwork was submitted to become an official organization on the yard. On February 20, 2002 Pi Psi was officially recognized on the campus of Wayne State University. Since that time we have began a new chapter on our quest for growth. The men of the Burgundy and Gold have thus set out on a journey that will change the landscape of Wayne State University forever!
